Electronics engineering technicians are skilled at troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining a variety of electronics equipment the modern world can’t do without—computers, control devices, instruments and assembly line PLCs, to name a few.
The Associate in Applied Science with a Major in Electronic Engineering Technology degree prepares students for careers as technicians working to support electrical engineers and other technical professionals in the design, development, modification and testing of electronic circuits, devices and systems.
In this major, you’ll study science, math and electronics coursework necessary to master practical circuit feasibility, prototype development and testing, systems analysis, solid-state and microminiature circuits and the application of technical data to solve problems.

Technical Scholars
Eligible students majoring in Industrial Maintenance Technology or Machine Tool Technology have a unique opportunity to participate in the ATC Technical Scholars program. Participants receive free tuition and books, work part-time with a local employer, and are paid $14-$18 per hour for time worked.
