Interested in an outdoor career? Ready to electrify your future?

The Electric Power Distribution (EPD) program allows students to pursue employment with electric power providers or line construction companies. This program offers the training needed to construct, operate, and maintain power line equipment for residential, commercial, and industrial customers. The curriculum covers the fundamentals of electricity, how to properly climb and set poles in any weather, safety policies and procedures, motor vehicle operation and maintenance, rigging, the use of hot sticks, and more. Graduates may then advance to an electric line technician apprenticeship.
