Civil Engineering Technology
Civil Engineering Technology is used to build our infrastructure, from roads and bridges to tunnels, public buildings, and sewer systems. Our Associate Degree program stresses the fundamentals of Civil Engineering and is accredited by ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology). Civil Engineering Technologists must solve problems on the spot, and manage every phase of a project utilizing technical skills and creativity. Many in the civil engineering technology field work with infrastructure maintenance, including stress tests, evaluations, and on-going support, which takes place after construction is finished.
