Mechanical Engineering Technology

The Associate in Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology (ASMET) is a two-year program that applies established scientific and engineering knowledge and methods to the field of machines and manufacturing. This program is ideally suited to the person who is capable of understanding theoretical principles, but prefers to get involved with mechanical systems and processes.  The AS Mechanical Engineering Technology program is accredited by the Engineering Technology Accreditation Commission of ABET.
