CAD (Computer Aided Design) Training

The Cape Fear Community College CAD Training programs will help you pursue a career in engineering, manufacturing, architecture, or interior design. Taught by an experienced professional, the classes will prepare students for the Autodesk AutoCAD Certified User Certification exam.

Courses

AutoCAD Basic/Intermediate

This is a hands-on class that covers basic and intermediate concepts of AutoCAD software. Students will learn to use basic drawing and editing commands to set up, draw, modify and dimension architectural and mechanical drawings. Students will increase their speed and proficiency with AutoCAD.


Advanced CAD & 3D Modeling

This is a hands-on class that includes advanced concepts of CAD design and covers the basics of Revit and 3D modeling in both AutoCAD and Inventor. Coursework includes basic commands and floorplans in Revit, floor plans, wireframe modeling and 3D modeling using AutoCAD, 3D part models, assemblies and drawings using Inventor.
