The Mechanical Engineering Technology curriculum prepares you for employment as a mechanical engineering technician. Emphasis is placed on the integration of theory and mechanical principles into real applications in product and design and manufacturing.

The Associate of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology program is accredited by the Engineering Technology Accreditation Commission of ABET, under the General Criteria and the Program Criteria for Mechanical Engineering Technology and Similarly Named Programs.

Our mechanical engineering technology associate degree is transferable to four-year schools in the UNC system offering the Bachelor's of Science in engineering technology.
