This 42 college credit certificate program prepares students for employment as paramedics (Emergency Medical Technicians & Paramedics) to function at the basic pre-hospital paramedic level and treat various medical/trauma conditions, using appropriate equipment and materials. Students wishing to apply to the Paramedic program must meet college requirements to take college level courses, hold an EMT Certification and have completed Anatomy and Physiology I with lab (BSC 1085 and BSC 1085L) with a grade of C or better.

*Students are required to possess a valid EMT certification in order to register for Paramedic courses.
