Automotive Collision Repair Program

Career and Technology Center (CTC) Faculty takes pride in providing you with real world, hands-on education and skills that are fundamental and foundational to build a career. Automotive Collision Repair (ACR) program provide opportunity for their students to work on vehicles brought in by the public. This allows the students to get real, hands on experience very similar to what they would be doing in the workplace. Working on vehicles for the general public not only allows the students a better learning experience but it also offers a well done, low cost service to the public.

Auto Collision Repair (Career Outlook)

(30-Weeks, 900 hrs, Noncredit Program)

Sheet metal repairs, fiberglass, frame straightening, grinding, sanding, polishing, painting, welding and cutting. Work on real customers’ vehicles in a “live” shop setting.

The Automotive Collision Repair program provides skills training in sheet metal repair, use of power tools, application of plastic body fillers and fiberglass, painting and refinishing in a 30 week program. This program prepares students for an entry level position in the Collision Repair industry.

1. After completing the Auto Collision Repair Program students will have the minimum basic skills necessary for an entry level position.

The Automotive Collision Repair is an open enrollment program in which students can enroll and start the program in as short as two weeks given that there are vacancies.
