Program Summary

Industrial maintenance technicians are needed in every industry that uses machinery. This program includes cross-training in electrical, manufacturing, maintenance, machining, and welding and provides entry to a variety of high-demand careers.

In this program, students learn what today’s industry requires: critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork. Graduates enter the workforce as college-educated professionals who have the skill set to address the needs of the industry.

Program Outcomes

  • Evaluate mechanical system components and perform scheduled maintenance, preventative maintenance and diagnostic procedures and repair in an industrial environment.
  • Perform basic mechanical and repair techniques common to the industrial maintenance field.
