Criminal Justice Technology, Chemical Dependency Counseling Specialization, AAS

This program is based in San Angelo. This program is designed for students who are primarily interested in a career as a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC). This program has been developed within the guidelines of the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS). The capstone course, DAAC 2364, will be completed at a community corrections facility (CCF) of the Concho Valley Community Supervision and Corrections Department (CSCD) or with the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Council for the Concho Valley (ADACCV). CSCD requires background investigations, and criminal histories may precluded students from interning with them.
