Description

The Associate in Applied Science Degree in Technical Studies allows individuals who have successfully completed technical training in an appropriate career field, such as Business, Computer Science, Computer Technology, or Electronics Engineering Technology, to advance their studies and attain a college degree. The program will provide opportunities for workers to apply knowledge and skills learned in certified apprenticeship training programs as credits toward the Associate in Applied Science Degree in Technical Studies.

Requirements

Complete CSS-100

CSS-100 College Student Success

Complete the following groups:

COMPLETE ENG-101

ENG-101 College Composition I

ENG-103 or ENG-112

ENG-103 Technical Report Writing
ENG-112 Speech

Complete MAT-100 or MAT-114.

MAT-100 College Algebra
MAT-114 Introduction Probabilities and Statistics

Complete the following groups:

TAKE 2 COURSES FROM LAB SCIENCE or MATH ELECTIVE MUST BE 4 CREDITS EACH COURSE

Complete 1 Social Science or Humanities Elective.

Complete Technical Training:

COMPLETE 30 CREDITS, EARNED FROM CORPORATE, INDUSTRIAL OR MILITARY TRAINING PROGRAMS
