The Graphic Design program at Kellogg Community College is designed for individuals who would like to pursue a career in graphic or digital design, as well as those already working in the industry who need to upgrade their skills for new responsibilities or career growth. The program’s curriculum includes both classroom and hands-on learning experiences to prepare the student for success in small or large businesses. Upon successful completion of the program, students earn an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Graphic Design.

Students will be prepared to provide creative solutions to visual communications by emphasizing composition and layout while participating in computer graphics training and relevant field experience allowing them to establish a strong, diversified portfolio. Students are encouraged to develop their conceptual and design abilities while working in a modern graphic design environment that includes a fully equipped graphic design computer lab.
