The mission of the Culinary Arts diploma is to provide excellence in education, guiding the learner in the pursuit of basic culinary skills and employment goals.The Culinary Arts Diploma Program is designed to provide classroom instruction and practical hands-on laboratory work. The diploma is intended to provide entry level skills in Culinary Arts. Emphasis is placed on fundamental skills and techniques.
This program provides the student the opportunity to:
- prepare for entry-level employment in the Hospitality and Foodservice Industry.
The graduate of this program is able to:
- demonstrate basic knowledge and practical application of food preparation.
- apply introductory knowledge of culinary arts in the Foodservice Industry.
