Paramedicine

A paramedic impacts the lives of people in an emergency when they need them most. If you are looking to become a healthcare professional who provides frontline care to the sick and injured, a career as a paramedic or emergency medical technician (EMT) could be your calling.

Our nationally-accredited Paramedicine program includes studies in anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, cardiology, pulmonology, pharmacology, pediatrics, geriatrics hematology, toxicology, trauma care, environmental emergencies, and behavioral healthcare. You can also earn credentials in community health, critical care, and tactical emergency casualty care. Our instructors have real-world experience in diversified paramedicine that includes Emergency Medical Services (EMS), the military, law enforcement, and fire services.

The knowledge and skills acquired while earning a Certificate of Completion (CCL) can help launch you into a new career or energize your current job. Generally requiring fewer credit hours than degrees or transfer programs, a CCL may be your best first step into higher education.

Get credit for your industry training. MCC offers Prior Learning Assessments (PLA) for students with existing industry certifications, licenses, and approved corporate training. Access the forms below and attach proof of training/certification when you submit your request. Please note, in order to access and complete the PLA forms, you must be an active MCC student and have an MEID.
