Electrician Training in Baltimore, Maryland
The Electrical Technology Program is specifically designed to train students to meet the needs of companies hiring individuals as entry-level electrical technicians. Entry-level electricians will be asked to install and service electrical applications within residential, commercial, and industrial fields. Our Electrical Technology program includes the practice and theory of residential and commercial wiring, machine control, programmable controllers, telecommunications, and electronic control.

Schedule: The Electrical Technology Program is available for weekday and evening classes.
Upon Completion: Students who complete this course can attempt their NCCER Core and Electrical 1 Certification, OSHA 10.

Electrical Technology Program Course Outline
Through this course at North American Trade Schools in Baltimore, MD, students will learn the basics of electrical residential and commercial wiring. Students will have proficient training in both practical experience and theoretical training. Problem-solving skills are developed in panel board selection, electric service, and overcurrent protection such as circuit breakers and fuses and low voltage electrical systems. Students will also be trained and learn basic motor controls (PLC), photovoltaics (solar energy), and electronics.
