Our NWCCD Associate of Applied Science degree in Diesel Technology is one of the most successful and highly regarded in the region. As a student in our Diesel Technology program, you will receive not only important hands-on training, but also the best theory and practical teachings for the industry. Our modern labs boast the most up-to-date diagnostic equipment with training on the newest engines from Caterpillar, AGCO, Cummins, and Detroit Diesel. Industry Outlook
Diesel engine and equipment maintenance is growing in sophistication. Emissions criteria for diesel engines are also getting stricter via new mandates by federal and state agencies. With this increasingly complex landscape for diesel tech comes exponential career growth and opportunity. The Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts that by 2026 over 28,800 jobs will be added to this field, an increase of over 9%.
