Industrial Electronics Engineering Technology

The Industrial Electronics Engineering Technology program is designed to prepare graduates for a career in the installations, maintenance, testing, and repair of industrial electrical and electronic equipment and systems. This program introduces the fundamentals of electricity, electronics, digital techniques, electrical power distribution, motor controls, fluid power systems, programmable logic controllers, and automation systems.

How do I get into the Industrial Electronics Engineering Technology program?

  • Complete an Application for Admissions to the college.

  • Complete an Application to the Industrial Electronics Engineering Technology program.

  • Have a high school diploma or GED/HISET equivalency on file with the admissions office

  • Must have an ACT subscore of 17 in English and Math or be eligible to enroll in English Comp I and Intermediate Algebra, or obtain instructor approval.

  • Have official ACT scores on file with the admissions office

  • Students must submit necessary records and credentials prior to the semester of entrance of the program. 

  • Confirm with the admissions office that high school transcript or GED/HISET transcript and all previous college course transcripts have been received in the admissions office.

  • Pay any outstanding balances to Northwest MS Community College or any other college. 

  • Submit a current negative 5-panel drug screen after July 15th.  (Drug Screen Policy & Test Result Form)

  • Contact IEET instructor for program visit. 

Admissions to the college does not guarantee admissions to the program of study.
