Medical Assisting (MDA.AAS)

Program Outcomes

Program outcomes represent broad areas of knowledge and skills developed over the duration
of the program through a wide range of courses and experiences. These learning outcomes
represent what a student should be able to know, think, or do upon successful completion of
their program at Oakland Community College.

  • Students will demonstrate proficiency in Administrative, Clinical and Trans-disciplinary competencies.
  • Students will understand the legal and ethical aspects of Medical Assisting.
  • Students will demonstrate sufficiently developed content.

Full Time - Fall Start

MILESTONE: Attend MDA orientation prior to starting any MDA courses. Prior to start, student must have current CPR card and First Aid Card.
