Precision Manufacturing Technology (Machining)
Students who enter the Precision Manufacturing program will learn how to use lathes, mills, machine tools, and computer numerically controlled machines. Upon completion of this program, students will be prepared to apply for entry-level positions as machinists, computer-controlled machine tool operators, and machine operators. Machinist is listed on the Texas Workforce Commission’s Targeted Occupations list for the Permian Basin.
