Program Description

Automotive Technicians are in greater demand now than ever before. Today’s automotive technician is a highly trained and skilled individual. Students will develop knowledge and skills in:

  • Electronics
  • Drive Axle and Drive Train Repair
  • Engine and Transmission Diagnosis and
  • Steering, Suspension & Brake Systems
  • Fuel Systems
  • Electronic Engine Control Diagnosis & drivability

Working on today’s cars requires an understanding in the science and technology that goes into the modern, highly sophisticated automobile. Students are exposed to the new “High Tech” world of automobile service repair through daily hands-on work in the classroom and the opportunities to meet and learn from local industry partners.

While enrolled in the Automotive Service Technology Program, students are awarded the opportunity of becoming ASE certified.

Potential Earnings:
Graduates earn an average of $32.00 per hour.
