Program Purpose:

This program is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills needed for entry into residential, commercial, or industrial electrician jobs.

Understand safety and legal requirements when wiring electrical circuits.
Measure voltage, current and electrical power.
Identify purpose/ location of components and protection devices.
Apply math and science as related to the electrical field.
Troubleshoot and repair systems.

A college-ready student attending Camp full-time can complete this certificate in three semesters.

Upon completion of the program, graduates will possess the knowledge and skills required for various careers such as: industrial or residential construction electrician, maintenance electrician, and installation and repair technicians.
