This program trains students to maintain, troubleshoot and repair equipment for industrial environments such as bakeries, breweries, and candy companies. The program focuses on electrical skills, refrigeration, boiler operations, basic welding, brazing and pipe sweating, programmable logic controls, and mechanical maintenance. Much of the training is hands on. This program is recognized as a "School of Technology" by the cities of Seattle and Tacoma advisory boards.

Admission Requirements
- Must take the Accuplacer test with a score of QRAS: 200-219 or higher before enrolling in AMATH 175 or CBE 101.
Admission Recommendations
- Able to lift 50 lbs. occasionally, climb ladders and work in confined spaces.
- Write, speak and understand English.
- Mechanically inclined with good eye/hand coordination.
- Able to perform moderately physically demanding tasks on a regular basis.
