This program prepares students for employment as diesel brakes technicians. Training includes maintaining and repairing diesel engines and electrical systems, reconditioning diesel fuel injection systems, overhauling diesel engines and performing diesel engine preventive maintenance.

After successfully completing each of the Medium and Heavy Duty Truck and Bus Technician programs, students are eligible to take the Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Tests administered by the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF).
