What is the Computer Support Specialist program?This program will teach you how to assist with all aspects of computer systems, including setup, installing software and solving problems. What will I learn?You’ll learn about computer operating systems, computer networks, software, hardware, and tech support skills. You’ll develop the ability to help computer users with issues such as log-in difficulties, operating system and software malfunctions, network technologies, and even hardware issues. In addition to learning a variety of computer-based support tactics, you’ll develop strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities, as well as proficiencies in communication, customer support and service. |
What can I do with this course of study?This program will prepare you for an entry-level position as a computer support specialist, maintaining computer networks and providing technical assistance to users in a variety of workplace settings. You can also pursue additional education for careers in related fields, such as quality assurance engineer or software designer.
