What is Medical Information Technology?

The Medical Information Technology (MIT) program is designed for individuals who love the medical field but not necessarily the clinical side of it. This program will provide you with knowledge to work within an administrative setting in healthcare facilities closely with other healthcare professionals.

What Else Do I Need to Know?

Progression in the Program

Progression in the MIT program is contingent upon maintaining a grade of "C" or better in each course and maintenance of a 2.0 cumulative grade point average or better (on a 4.0 scale).

Length of Program

You can earn an associate in applied science degree in two years if you maintain full-time status.
