What is Engineering and Electronics Technology?

The Engineering and Electronics Technology (ELT) program prepares you to work as a professional in the exciting and highly technical field of robotics and automation. Graduates operate and maintain some of the world’s most advanced automated production systems. From working with robots that paint iconic American sports cars to maintaining automated systems that fabricate cutting-edge audio components, ELT graduates use their expertise to ensure quality production and organizational efficiency.

You gain the background to work as production managers, engineering assistants, and plant maintenance specialists. Options in this program include automation technician, electronics tester, industrial electronics technician, computer-aided drafting technician, and maintenance technician.
