To be successful in this program you need excellent computer skills; the ability to think logically and analytically; critical thinking and problem-solving skills; patience, persistence and extreme accuracy; and reading, oral comprehension and communication skills.

With the explosion of e-commerce, countless firms now generate a substantial percentage of their revenue from online purchases, and even the smallest businesses have a web presence. Companies are seeking talented professionals with the training to produce effective, interactive websites that will be easy to navigate, visually appealing and contain the latest in web design technology.

Occupational Outlook

There is a critical shortage of qualified web developers, and excellent opportunities exist with both large and small companies and in the public sector. Jobs are available as web developers and designers, graphic artists, webmasters, and designers. Salaries range from $33,700 to $63,490.
