This program prepares individuals for employment in a variety of social service organizations. Students can become a Certified Alcohol and Other Drug Counselor (CADC) by completing the Substance Use Disorder Counseling Emphasis. The program is accredited by the Illinois Certification Board, Inc. at the Advanced level. Individuals must complete the CADC exam to become certified.
