What is Computer Information Technology?

The Computer and Information Technologies (CIT) program at West Kentucky Community and Technical College is an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree that leads to both job opportunities and transfer options to 4-year universities. The CIT curriculum is supported by a solid foundation of general education classes that include writing, communications, computer and math skills. Students will obtain hands-on training to develop skills in computer networking, computer programming, hardware and software maintenance and web page design. If a graduate chooses, he or she will be prepared to sit for industry-recognized certifications exams.
