What is Industrial Maintenance Technology?
The skills of an industrial maintenance technician continue to change tremendously as new technologies are developed. More and more companies are looking for maintenance technicians that have an understanding of all the technical fields needed to diagnose and to correct those technical problems experienced in industry. The Industrial Maintenance Technology program teaches those vital skills that industry has told us they are looking for in maintenance personnel. This is accomplished by teaching why things work the way they do and demonstrated with hands-on application in a simulated industrial setting. The program is intentionally designed so students can personalize their education with technical electives that interest them. You can earn an associate in applied science degree in two years if you maintain full-time status.
