Program Description
The Electrocardiographic Technician certificate program is
intended to provide students with the workplace skills necessary to
perform and evaluate 12-lead electrocardiographs and telemetry
surveillance in hospitals and cardiology offices in order to assist
physicians in the diagnosis and monitoring of the heart. Students
will be provided an in-depth knowledge of principles, practices,
standards, and techniques used in the work place.
