Students who train with the South Carolina Fire Academy or National Fire Academy can now use that experience toward a degree from OCtech! This is the perfect opportunity for volunteer firefighters and public safety officers to expand their knowledge and earn an Associate Degree in Applied Science in General Technology with a primary specialty in Fire Science/Emergency Medical Technician and secondary specialty in Criminal Justice. The college will award exemption credit for training sponsored and conducted by the S.C. Fire Academy (official Fire Academy transcripts required).
