Class Information

North Carolina Fuel Piping License Updates

This course provides individuals that currently hold a NC Plumbing License, NC Mechanical License, and NC Fuel Gas License with the proper knowledge to remain current in their field.

Registration

  • $65 Registration Fee
  • Advance In-Person Registration Required
  • This class is offered only during code change years.

  • North Carolina Building Code
*Students must bring texts to class. Students who fail to bring texts to class will not be allowed in class.
North Carolina Mechanical License Updates

This course provides individuals that currently hold a NC Mechanical License with the proper knowledge to remain current in their field.

Plumbing Certificate

This course covers basic installation and maintenance of plumbing systems and components. Topics include: safe use of tools, implementation of standard practices, and installation and maintenance of piping, fittings, valves, appliances, and fixtures used in plumbing systems.

Upon completion of this class, students should be able to install and maintain basic plumbing systems, components, appliances, and fixtures through appropriate use of plumbing tools and standard practices. The student will also be ready to go to work as a plumber’s helper. In addition, the student will be credited hours toward obtaining a NC plumbing licensing.

Plumbing Contractor’s License Preparation

This course is for students that have worked a minimum of 4,000 hours under a North Carolina licensed plumber and are ready to obtain their license.
