Step Into a Career in the Forest with an AAS in Forestry Technology!
If you’re ready to get to work in the great outdoors, the Associate of Applied Science in Forestry Technology at Three Rivers College is your path to a rewarding and hands-on career in natural resources. This degree is designed for students who want to head straight into the forestry workforce.

You’ll train outdoors in real forest environments, gaining practical experience in timber cruising, silviculture, GPS mapping, wildfire management, land conservation, prescribed burns, and more. Our expert-led, field-based courses prepare you to meet the demands of today’s forestry and natural resource industries.

Our graduates are already making an impact, working with respected agencies like the U.S. Forest Service, Missouri Department of Conservation, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. With the skills you gain here, you’ll be ready to join them—making a difference in the forests and communities that depend on them.
