This is a Continuing Education & Workforce Development (CEWD) program. Most CEWD programs do not require an application, and students may register online. This is a Continuing Education & Workforce Development program. While CEWD courses do not provide academic credits, participants experience affordable, flexible, and rewarding programs, with select courses offering industry recognized training for licensure and career certification at the state and national level. Dedicated instructors provide expert education and side-by-side training with veterinary teams. Upon successful completion, students receive a  Certificate of Completion, indicating they have the training required to work as a veterinary assistant. 

Frederick County Public School students may receive free tuition through Dual Enrollment at FCC for all courses.  Fee and book scholarships may be available for select programs. Students should speak with their high school counselor first if they plan to enroll in an FCC workforce development course or program.
