Basic and advanced credentials are offered through the Electromechanical program at Amarillo College, and students can complete a basic certificate and enter the workforce after just one semester of study. AC graduates are eligible for entry-level employment installing, operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining electronic systems in businesses and industrial settings. Graduates of this program also have a head start on the road to potential licensure in the field of electronics.

What can you do with an Electromechanical degree?


Programs in Electromechanical give students the opportunity to learn how to install and repair consumer and commercial electronic products, as well as control systems used in an industrial environment, such as programmable logic controllers. Graduates find employment almost anywhere and are able to pursue entry-level careers in different fields of the ever-expanding electronics industry.
