PRECISION MANUFACTURING AND MAINTENANCE

The Precision Manufacturing and Maintenance Program was designed to equip gradates with a versatile skill set for a variety of manufacturing positions that are industry driven, including Plant Maintenance Technician, Industrial Electrical Maintenance Technician, Mechanical Maintenance Technician, Mechatronics Technician, Control Technician, with the emphasis on installing, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing electromechanical machinery. The planned sequence of courses prepares students to complete the Associates Degree or the Diploma within two years. Precision Manufacturing and Maintenance positions have a starting salary between $50,000.00 - $60,000 a year. The current industry demand for Precision Manufacturing Maintenance Technicians is a high Priority in Industry, as aging work force are starting to retire. Precision Manufacturing and Maintenance Degree (PMA3)

This degree is designed to develop multi-skilled technicians and operators with talents in the complete manufacturing process and emerging technologies of advanced process automation, manufacturing and continual process improvement, as well as the capability for higher level problem-solving, innovation, and leadership. Graduates will have the capacity and adaptability to perform on a team of technicians and trades craftsmen in the advanced manufacturing environment, developing new technology applications and improved operations.

Precision Manufacturing and Maintenance Diploma (PMA2)

This diploma is designed to develop multi-skilled technicians and operators with talents in the complete manufacturing process and emerging technologies of advanced process automation, manufacturing and continual process improvement, as well as the capability for higher level problem-solving, innovation, and leadership. Graduates will have the capacity and adaptability to perform on a team of technicians and trades craftsmen in the advanced manufacturing environment, developing new technology applications and improved operations.
