Program Description

Students get hands-on airframe and power plant mechanic's training in AC’s Aviation Maintenance program. The highly qualified faculty has vast experience with large jets, military planes, and small aircraft. Students work on aircraft with operational engines, controls and hydraulics, and running turbine/jet engines. This degree plan prepares and qualifies students to take Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) mechanic's exams for General Airframe and/or Power Plant ratings. Graduates enter the industry with a comprehensive understanding of Aviation Maintenance Technology.
