John Paul "J.P." Sheppard decided to take the road less traveled. Jumping into a new career isn't for everyone, yet he persisted. In his former career, J.P. realized the work just wasn't for him anymore. He lacked joy and motivation.

Thankfully, he was referred to the aviation industry, where he has thrived since!

Sure, the training wasn't always easy. It was a lot of information at once. But J.P. Sheppard saw the light at the end of the tunnel, and upon completing the program at National Aviation Academy, he found multiple job offers on his plate.

Ultimately, J.P. decided that he wanted to stay local to where he attended school. With a newborn and surrounding family, J.P. chose to become a part of the Airborne team in Tampa Bay! Airborne is a Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul company that has two bases. Where J.P. currently works features two hangars with 320,000 sq. ft. and is located at the Tampa International Airport!
