The successful pivot of the Paramedic Program at Paradise Valley Community College (PVCC) this spring bodes well for its continued success in providing well-trained and highly skilled paramedics for our community.
“With the outbreak of COVID-19, it became necessary to push the boundaries of technology to engage our students and enable them to complete the program. When the pandemic hit, we were able to have a mini-lab constructed utilizing L-101,” Paramedic Program Director Kevin Taussig said. “This ‘build-out’ provided break-out rooms and an observation component to address the program’s hands-on learning/instruction requirement.”
