Program Description

The labor market outlook for all construction trades in Oregon is projected to be strong and steady, with seasonal variations, through 2019, with growth rates from 17% to 29%. Job growth among first-line supervisors/managers of construction trades also can expect strong career opportunities, with Oregon growth rates of 15% through 2019, and with projected growth of 21.4% in Clatsop, Columbia, and Tillamook counties.

This associate of applied science degree program is designed for a person currently in or who has completed a Bureau of Labor and Industries (BOLI) approved construction trades apprenticeship and who intends to work beyond the level of journeyman as coordinator, leader, or supervisor in industrial trade and community roles.
