

Upon completion of the Criminal Justice Technical Certificate a student may choose to enter the KLETC or equivalent law enforcement academy training. Upon completion of the academy training a student may choose to transfer those credits back to CCC to be awarded the Associate of Applied Science through CCC.

The PTA may perform physical therapy procedures and related tasks that have been selected and delegated by the supervising physical therapist. Where permitted by law, a PTA my also carry out routine operational functions, including supervision of the physical therapy tech or PTA student, and documentation of treatment progress. The PTA is certified to practice in the state of choice upon completion of the licensure board exam.

It was established in 1969, and became fully accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) in 1974. It has maintained full accreditation since that time.
Students receive training on many advanced technologies in veterinary medicine such as direct digital radiology, class IV laser therapy, and color Doppler ultrasound. In addition, the program has a full line of veterinary laboratory equipment that students use as part of their education.
Students in the On-Campus Veterinary Nursing Program receive hands-on training throughout the two year program with a variety of college-owned animals including dogs, cats, cattle, horses, pigs, rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, mice, and birds. In addition to the main 80-acre campus in Colby, the college operates a 60-acre agricultural center east of the city. Students in the On-Campus Veterinary Nursing Program utilize the college farm as a hands-on laboratory for their large animal coursework.
