The Paramedic delivers pre-hospital life support care and transportation necessary for accident and emergency illness victims. Emergency Medical Technician (Limited Access Program) Applied Technical Diploma

The program teaches students the basic skills and techniques of pre-hospital emergency medical care. The course emphasizes developing skills in recognizing the symptoms of illnesses and injuries, and the application and proper procedures essential in delivering basic life support to the sick and injured. This program is a contiguous program, in which Firefighter I and Firefighter II are offered in a series.
