EMCC's Automotive Technology program provides students with basic skills and technical expertise in the key areas of engine repair, automotive transmissions, manual drive trains and axles, suspension and steering, brakes, electrical/electronic systems, heating and air-conditioning systems and engine performance systems. They work under the direction and supervision of registered nurses (RNs) and licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and other medical staff.

EMCC offers two entry options for the Associate Degree Nursing Program. The Generic option and the LPN to RN transition option.
The Transition option is for Licensed Practical Nurses who wish to become Registered Nurses. The program is designed to be completed in three semesters. The student will begin the transition program in the fall semester. The first semester of this program will be primarily on line with visits to the campus for testing and skills validations only. Upon successful completion of the first semester, the student will join the second year of the generic RN option.

These duties include preparing prescriptions, ordering supplies, maintaining patient records and billing, and maintaining inventory.
Pharmacy technicians may also be called upon to mix pharmaceutical preparations under the direction and supervision of the pharmacist. They are also responsible for assisting in the care and cleaning of pharmacy equipment. This may include sterilizing bottles, beakers, and other glassware according to prescribed methods.
Another important role of a pharmacy technician is to receive and screen prescription drug orders for completeness and accuracy. This increases the need for a pharmacy technician to be able to prepare and distribute medications in a variety of health system settings. They need to have a broad knowledge of pharmacy practice and be able to use pharmaceutical and medical terms, abbreviations, and symbols appropriately.

Because they collect blood and are at risk of exposure to a variety of diseases, phlebotomists are trained in laboratory safety and must adhere to very strict policies and procedures.
To be successful in this profession, an individual must enjoy working with people, work well under pressure, be attentive to detail, and have excellent manual dexterity. Another consideration that must be taken into account is how uneasy most people are around needles and blood. This requires a phlebotomist to calm patients and be an effective communicator and a good listener.
View on provider's websiteSurgical technology is an instructional program that prepares an individual to serve as a member of the surgical team to work with surgeons, anesthesiologists, certified registered nurse anesthetists, registered nurses, and other surgical personnel in delivering patient care and assuming appropriate responsibilities before, during, and after surgery. This program includes the education of all aspects of surgical technology including the role of second assistant and circulator.
The Associate of Applied Science degree for Surgical Technology is a 65 hour program. The program consists of a minimum of 20 hours of general academic classes and 45 hours of ST classes. Students must take all SUT classes in sequential order. An Associate of Applied Science Degree in Surgical Technology will be awarded to the successful graduate of the 17-month program.

Emergency Medical Technicians function as part of a comprehensive EMS response, under medical oversight, trained in airway management, communications, documentation, general pharmacology, hemorrhage control, ambulance operations, and splinting of adult, pediatric, and infant patients; and special care of patients exposed to heat, cold, radiation, or contagious disease. Students who complete the program are eligible to take the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians Exam and become state certified.

Students enrolled in the program will participate in a variety of learning experiences related to land and forest measurements, growth processes of timber stands, tree identification, timber and forest products harvesting, timber stand management, forest protection, and forest products utilization.
Forestry Technology is a two-year technical program. An Associate of Applied Science degree is awarded upon successful completion of the curriculum.
