A six-week, non-credit Truck Driving program is offered that utilizes the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) model curriculum as the foundation for training and takes the student from basic through advanced operation of a tractor/trailer. Additionally, courses taught include safe operation practices and non-vehicle activities which are not directly related to the vehicle but which must be performed by the operator. Information is presented in an intensive question and answer format to provide the most efficient and cost-effective method for preparing a student for a commercial driver’s license. The cost of the six-week course is $3,500. VA students must submit all proof of prior training from school or military prior to being admitted into the program.

Note that AAS degree and certificate programs are not designed to be transfer programs, however the Enterprise State Community College Paralegal Program is approved by the American Bar Association (ABA) and other schools approved by the ABA may accept legal specialty courses that are equivalent in nature.
In addition to the required legal specialty courses, the American Bar Association guidelines require that a student in the Certificate program obtain a minimum of eighteen (18) hours of general education courses in at least three (3) disciplines. The Alabama Commission on Higher Education has approved a suggested sequence of courses for the Certificate program; however general education courses may be substituted upon approval on a case by case basis. General education credits may be obtained through
transfer credits.
