This program prepares students for employment as an aircraft mechanic. Students who complete the Airframe and/or Powerplant Technician Program(s) are eligible to take the Federal Aviation Administration written and the oral examinations to become a certificated Airframe or Powerplant Technician. High school students may complete the second program as an adult student. The school is certificated by the FAA under Certificate #CT9T072R.

Avionics Technician Program

The Avionics Technician program (1200-hours) prepares students for entry-level positions in electronics and avionics and develops academic, technical, and professional skills required for job acquisition, retention, and advancement.

The curriculum includes a combination of electronics and avionics theory and practical applications necessary for successful employment. Program graduates receive an Electronic Technology and Avionics program completion certificates.
