An Automotive Service and Repair certificate program will give students a choice between the full degree program with its general education courses and advanced diagnostic classes of the second year of the Degree program and possible no post-secondary education at all. An automotive technology curriculum expands career opportunities for Nashua Community College students without major increases in resources and fits well with the College’s current Mission and Strategic Plan. While students earning this certificate could be eligible for immediate employment or career advancement in the field of automotive service, power sports, and equipment repair; the program would also provide students with an excellent introduction to a related Associate degree.
