

Students must possess a high school diploma or equivalency and have an active DCF staff credential to enroll. The content includes but is not limited to organizational leadership, financial management, legal obligations and responsibilities, educational programming, marketing strategies, assessment, monitoring practices, and collaboration of programs with families and community resources. The program includes both theory and practical applications. As part of the coursework, students will create elements of an effective child care program. Child Care Center Operations includes competencies required for the Florida Child Care Center Director Credential.
