Upon completion of the program, students will receive an Associate in Applied Science in Medical Laboratory Technology and be eligible to take the ASCP Board of Certification MLT Exam. ASCP certified Medical Laboratory Technicians may qualify to take the Medical Laboratory Scientist exam after completing a B.S. and two subsequent years of full-time work experience or by completing a B.S. in Medical Laboratory Science from a NAACLS accredited program.
