Program Description

The Electrician Apprenticeship Technologies program is based on the Bureau of Labor and
Industries (BOLI) Oregon State Apprenticeship Training Council and local Joint Apprenticeship
Training Committee related training standards. It combines full-time, on-the-job work experience
with trade-related theoretical instruction. The degree is available only to BOLI-registered apprentices
or electricians holding a journey-level card. If you are interested in becoming a registered
apprentice in an Oregon state apprenticeship program, contact Cathy Pierson at 541-245-7912.
RCC supports the following BOLI-ATD trades: limited maintenance electrician (4,000-hour trade);
inside electrician, limited manufacturing plant electrician, and sign maker/erector (8,000-hour
trades).
